Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Unarmed Patrol in Cleveland, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. With a focus on visibility and communication, you will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Proof of hospital-required vaccinations is required.
Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as required to address security-related matters and maintain order at the location.
Assist individuals in need of directions or information, providing a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location.
