As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm, professional communication. You will support visitors, patients, and staff with a customer-first approach while documenting security-related activity using site tools. Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical facility code responses as directed, and requests for assistance from clinical and/or administrative staff.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Control access by monitoring doors and restricted areas, verifying credentials as required, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in and waiting areas in accordance with site-specific policies.
Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
