As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
Be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be willing to restrain individuals in a hospital setting, if required.
Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels when needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to support an orderly environment for patients, staff, and guests.
Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
