About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hospital Rounds Unarmed in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations to help create a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital site.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents, maintaining clear and accurate documentation.
Assist with access control, helping to monitor entrances and exits to support a secure environment for all individuals on site.
Collaborate with staff and local law enforcement as directed during emergency situations or drills.
Provide information and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff, helping to maintain order and support a positive experience within the location.
