Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk of the healthcare location, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding any unusual activities or incidents observed at the front desk.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site protocols, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns when appropriate.
Maintain awareness of surroundings to help to deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior at the front desk area.
Follow all location-specific policies and procedures relevant to a healthcare environment, including privacy and confidentiality requirements.
