As a Security Officer - Hospital Perimeter Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements
- Proof of vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
- Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required by the client.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Carry out unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting staff and visitors as needed.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to site protocols.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support the overall security-related posture of the location.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines while performing unarmed patrol duties.
