About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrols in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in supporting a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Vaccinations are required for work in hospital environments.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect property and assets.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Assist with crowd control and help to maintain order during emergencies or high-traffic periods.
Provide support during emergency situations, such as medical incidents or evacuations, by coordinating with staff and emergency responders as needed.
