As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol in Monroeville, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will remain visible throughout your shift, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to various situations as needed. Requirements

Hospital employees must comply with all vaccine requirements as mandated by the facility.
Work assignments may include responsibilities in hospital morgue areas.
Employees may be required to assist with restraining individuals in a hospital setting.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential risks to appropriate personnel according to established procedures.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying identification, and helping to direct visitors as needed.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and offering assistance as required.
