Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol in Falls Church, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and deliver exceptional customer service while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

Hospital requires vaccines.
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and first responders to support the well-being of individuals on site.
Provide visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and offer reassurance to those in the location.
