As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will engage with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Proof of hospital-required vaccines is required for this position.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience providing customer service is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A current guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site staff, and local authorities as necessary.
Assist visitors, patients, and staff by providing directions and information, while upholding site-specific access control protocols.
Document all incidents, activities, and observations in a timely and accurate manner according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
Support a welcoming and orderly environment by helping to deter disruptive behavior within the healthcare facility.
