Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a calm environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This role calls for strong communication, professionalism, and customer service, along with teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach while responding to the needs of staff, patients, and visitors.

Requirements

Must have 2+ years of security-related experience.
Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes the morgue.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Must have 2+ years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies, visitor procedures, and/or after-hours protocols.
Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, de-escalating routine concerns, and communicating clearly with staff, patients, visitors, and/or first responders as needed.
