As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication, and document observations. Requirements

Must be able to work in a hospital environment where vaccines are required.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR Certification is preferred.
Baton Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or report hazards and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor flow, provide directions and assistance, and help to maintain orderly movement in lobbies, corridors, and other public areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or local emergency responders as needed.
Complete routine reports and security-related documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity summaries per site requirements.
