As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required for this client.
Hospital vaccines are required for this position.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Assist staff, patients, and visitors by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when required during incidents at the healthcare location.
