As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment. You will engage with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
Applicants must be able to restrain individuals as needed in a hospital environment.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist staff, visitors, and/or patients by providing directions and general information as needed.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and promote a secure environment in the healthcare setting.
Complete required logs and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
