Requirements

Vaccines are required for this hospital position.
Applicants must be able to work in a hospital morgue setting.
Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and patients to provide assistance and information as needed.
Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and procedures.
Work closely with healthcare personnel to support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
