Requirements

  • Vaccines are required for this hospital position.
  • Applicants must be able to work in a hospital morgue setting.
  • Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and patients to provide assistance and information as needed.
  • Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with healthcare personnel to support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
