About The Position

As a Security Officer – Hospital Lobby Patrol in Clairton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Vaccination is required for work at this hospital site.
Work in the hospital morgue may be required.
The ability to restrain individuals may be required at this hospital site.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, staff, and emergency personnel as needed.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, supporting the healthcare location's protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
