Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital site.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
Assist with access control, verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policy.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or hazards to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and/or medical emergencies as directed by site procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
