Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Grounds Patrol in CHERRY HILL, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and provide excellent customer service, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and care. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activities or conditions, documenting findings as required by site policy.
Assist clients, visitors, and/or staff with directions, information, and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence.
Collaborate with healthcare facility staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
Follow all site-specific protocols and post orders related to the healthcare environment, adapting to changing needs as directed by supervisors.
