As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. Your role involves routine patrols, assisting patients, visitors, and staff, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

Vaccines are required for employment at hospital locations.
Must be able to work in morgue environments at hospital locations.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to restrain individuals at hospital locations.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, offering support and assistance as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site-specific guidelines.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review.
Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding individuals to designated areas and coordinating with public emergency personnel when necessary.
