As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming presence for staff, patients, and visitors. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the facility, and supporting hospital operations with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Applicants must comply with all hospital vaccine requirements as a condition of assignment.
Applicants may be assigned to work in hospital morgue areas as required.
Applicants must be able to safely restrain individuals in hospital settings as required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter disruptive activity within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, including property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the healthcare environment.
Communicate with staff, visitors, and/or patients to provide assistance and information as needed.
Document incidents and security-related activities according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
