As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence for staff, patients, and visitors. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining visibility, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies and disturbances.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
Assist with access control procedures, including verifying credentials and guiding visitors as needed.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
Support emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and site-specific procedures.
Collaborate with hospital staff and law enforcement as needed to address incidents and maintain a secure environment.
