As an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will remain visible throughout your shift, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with those you encounter. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required by the location.
Assist with emergency response activities and follow established protocols in the event of medical or security-related incidents.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other relevant activities as required by site procedures.
