Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Entrance Patrol in Durham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, supporting a welcoming environment, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe any unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or disturbances.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site requirements.
Assist with access control processes and visitor management specific to the healthcare environment.
Work collaboratively with staff and visitors to help to maintain a welcoming and orderly environment.
