Requirements

Vaccines are required for this hospital position.
Applicants must be able to work in a hospital morgue setting.
Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations when needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents, following established protocols for healthcare settings.
Assist with controlling access to restricted areas, helping to maintain proper entry and exit procedures as required by the site.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, patients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Support emergency response activities and assist first responders as directed according to site-specific protocols.
