As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and concerns, and document activity with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical area standby requests, and calls for assistance from hospital personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter, checking doors, corridors, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations, documenting incidents and completing reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Support visitor management and access control by verifying credentials, directing foot traffic, and/or assisting with controlled entry points per site policy.
