As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and coordinate security-related activities, supporting both staff and visitors through clear communication and prompt response to incidents. Your role will help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming environment. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of hospital-required vaccines is required.
Supervisory experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage incoming calls, alarms, and radio communications to coordinate security-related responses within the healthcare facility.
Dispatch Allied Universal personnel to incidents and requests for assistance, following site-specific protocols and procedures.
Maintain accurate records and logs of incidents, communications, and dispatched activities throughout the shift.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, staff, and patients with information and support related to security-related matters.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, prioritizing responses according to established guidelines.
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external contacts to relay information and coordinate responses.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, following established procedures for the healthcare location.
Support regular and random patrols by coordinating with on-site personnel and tracking their activities as needed.
