As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will complete routine patrols of patient and staff areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls with calm, clear communication. You will support visitors, assist with access control, document observations, and coordinate with clinical teams when needed. Requirements

• Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
• The ability to restrain individuals is required for this hospital site.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, waiting areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, assist with wayfinding, and help to support an orderly environment in accordance with hospital policies.
• Complete reports and shift documentation, including incident details, patrol observations, and follow-up actions, and communicate relevant information during handoff.
