Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing directions, coordinating with site leadership, and contacting local emergency services when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify hazards, and report maintenance or operational concerns.
Monitor access points and controlled areas, assist with visitor management as directed by site policy, and support a respectful environment through de-escalation and conflict resolution techniques.
Complete required documentation such as activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, and participate in required briefings and training.
