As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. Requirements

Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activities to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control, verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the location as required by site policies.
Support Allied Universal management and local authorities during emergency or evacuation procedures when necessary.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered while on patrol.
