The role involves a fixed-shift commitment (Anchor Shifts) at a designated site and weekly shift, requiring a six-month commitment. In addition to the fixed shift, employees can pick up extra shifts through a scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites, allowing for part-time hours one week and full-time the next. This position is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by following site-specific procedures, community access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen and verify visitors, vendors, deliveries, and/or contractors before entry, while checking identification, visitor information, and access authorization in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Monitor entry points, assist with access control activities, and help to deter unauthorized entry through visible presence, attentive observation, and consistent application of security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential location and perimeter, noting conditions that may require follow-up and reporting security-related concerns according to site expectations.
