As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, document observations, and respond to requests with a customer-first mindset. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and authorized entry procedures, assist with visitor check-in and/or badge verification as directed by post orders, and escalate concerns through the proper channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm response, service calls, and coordination with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Complete routine documentation such as daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
