As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential property, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist residents and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and accurate reporting, while supporting a culture that is agile, reliable, and innovative. You will also contribute through teamwork and act with integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be 21 or more years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Have a guard card or license preferred.
Have CPR certification preferred.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a residential property.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and respond to resident and visitor inquiries, assisting with entry protocols, amenity area rules, and/or directing individuals to the appropriate property management contact as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations, notifying property management and/or emergency services when appropriate, and assisting with scene control until additional help arrives.
Complete detailed written reports of daily activity, incidents, and irregular conditions, and communicate relevant information to oncoming Allied Universal personnel and/or site representatives.
