As an unarmed patrol professional in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will remain visible throughout your shift and play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for all. Requirements

CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for all individuals present.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activity throughout the location.
Document and report security-related incidents or unusual activity according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including supporting evacuations or providing guidance to staff and visitors during incidents.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.
