About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Site - Full Time in LEWISTON, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or visitor credentials as required by site procedures.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to established protocols.
• Support Allied Universal leadership and healthcare facility staff during emergencies, drills, and/or special events as directed.
