About The Position
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rover in Tullahoma, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm, clear communication. You will support patients, visitors, and staff with customer-focused service while documenting observations and reporting concerns. Requirements
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely communication with clinical staff and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor wayfinding, and help manage access according to location procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
- Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
