Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.
  • Must be flexible and be able to work traditional and nontraditional work hours as so determined by an event or circumstances.
  • These positions require excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Candidates must commit to being on time, must be able to work in a very independent and dynamic environment, and must ensure that all directions and instructions from Tarian and client staff are followed consistently and thoroughly.
  • Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, to successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments, and to effectively manage deadlines and assignments.
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion with Tarian team members, clients, client staff, and all persons encountered on client sites.
  • Must authorize and submit to background investigation to the extent permitted by law.
  • Ability to write effective and concise reports in Tarian's mobile reporting tool.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively.
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a highly visible deterrent and as a deterrent to criminal activity while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
  • Notify supervisors and on-site client staff of any irregularities, suspicious activities, security breaches, and safety hazards.
  • Write and submit standardized reports that are prompt, professional, and accurate relative to the incident.
  • Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
  • Patrol and observe interior and exterior area of client properties in person or via surveillance systems to identify suspicious or unusual activity and to investigate as needed.
  • Respond to emergency situations according to Tarian and client policies & procedures.
  • Coordinate and assist first responder response to the client site and assist first responders while they are on site.
  • Applies policies and procedures appropriately based on existing circumstances.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Will be working in close proximity to patients.
  • Maybe need to de-escalate situations verbally and/or physically.
