As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to observe for any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and screening individuals as required by site policies.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client procedures.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other emergency situations.
Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as directed to address security-related needs and concerns.
