As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related needs of the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support the security-related protocols of the location.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Assist in guiding visitors and staff during emergency response activities and/or drills, following established procedures for the healthcare environment.
Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as needed to support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
