About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas, reporting any security-related concerns or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Support access control measures by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
Collaborate with facility staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related incidents or emergencies.
