Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, conditions, or hazards encountered during patrols.
Assist staff, visitors, and/or patients with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to support a secure environment, following protocols specific to the location.
Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents and daily activities.
