As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure environment, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Experience in loss prevention is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information, maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site protocols.
  • Document all security-related incidents and daily activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal procedures.
