As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and offer outstanding customer service and communication to everyone on site. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and authorized areas within the healthcare location.
Support emergency drills and respond to alarms or emergency calls according to established protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by the site protocols.
Provide visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals and/or activities in and around the healthcare location.
