As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents through regular patrols and a visible presence within a healthcare location. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A New York State Security Guard License is required.
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activities or potential hazards encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with staff and visitors to promote a secure and welcoming atmosphere at the location.
Document incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site policies.
