As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering and exiting the location to help to maintain a secure environment.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences according to site and Allied Universal procedures.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals during evacuations and/or medical situations.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities when necessary to address security-related matters.
