Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare facilities.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential disturbances.
Observe and report any unusual activity, incidents, or hazardous conditions to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site leadership or Allied Universal management.
Document all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
