About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Rounds in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, hazards, or suspicious activity encountered during patrols.
Assist staff, patients, and visitors by providing directions and addressing general inquiries in a professional manner.
Support access control protocols by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor flow within the location.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs and reports of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
