As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a sense of order while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, where you will be responsible for moving throughout the property as needed. Requirements

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain order within the location.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies by following established protocols and providing guidance as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
