As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols throughout the hospital, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service while interacting with staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

Proof of required vaccinations for hospital environments is mandatory.
Ability to work in hospital morgue environments is required.
Ability to safely restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including those applicable to healthcare environments.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns, with attention to the unique needs of a healthcare location.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain order within the facility.
Support emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during drills and/or real emergencies, as directed by Allied Universal policies and site-specific procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities and security-related incidents as required.
