About The Position
As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Leader in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general information while maintaining a professional presence.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the healthcare environment.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants.
