About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Lead in Warrensville Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital client.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure and welcoming atmosphere in the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify potential issues, with attention to the unique needs of a healthcare setting.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns, documenting incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with controlling access to restricted areas, verifying identification, and monitoring visitor flow as required by site-specific procedures.
Support emergency response efforts, such as assisting with evacuations or providing guidance during medical emergencies, while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and emergency personnel as needed, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior.
